Al Rufaisah Dam
Located in a scenic setting, the Al Rufaisah Dam is surrounded by natural landscapes that provide peace and calm away from the hustle and bustle of metropolitan neighbourhoods. This location is perfect for practising photography and appreciating nature because of the breathtaking views of the river set against the background of the rough mountains and the rich vegetation.
Shees Park Rest Area
This location is situated along the Khorfakkan-Sharjah Road, surrounded by the rough landscape of the Hajar Mountains. The purpose of this location is to provide a recreational destination suitable for families. Fifty-eight stores sell various products, such as groceries, rugs, travel equipment, fragrances, and more. Additionally, multiple restaurants and cafes are located inside the complex.
Khorfakkan Fountains Square
In addition to its welcoming environment and spectacular fountains, Fountains Square is a beautifully planted area well-known for its appearance. This plaza is especially famous for its circular circle park layout, making it an excellent location for picnics and casual strolls in the evening. The area has four entrances, and it is ornamented with fountains that are attractively lighted at night, which adds to the location’s allure.
Al-Suhub Rest Area
It is well-known for its gorgeous location, breathtaking views of the Gulf of Oman, and the scenery surrounding it. This location is particularly well-liked because it is perched on a hill, which provides tourists with an ideal panoramic perspective. You may also use the cafe’s fast and delicious food while you relax.
Najd Al Maqsar Village
Sharjah is home to a rural community known as Najd Al Maqsar. This specific hamlet, along with many others in the area, reflects the traditional ways of life and architectural styles that have been distinctive of the Arabian Peninsula for ages. These villages often provide a look into the past by displaying locally grown agricultural techniques, traditional buildings, and other aspects of communal life.
Khorfakkan Waterfall
It is a breathtaking artificial attraction that provides a spectacular view of the Khorfakkan Tour Corniche. It is situated on a natural cliff. At an elevation of about 43 meters above sea level, this breathtaking waterfall is 45 meters in length and 11 meters in width. The waterfall may be seen from various vantage points, including at the top, where a cave containing a restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the harbour and the waters pouring down.
Khorfakkan Amphitheater
This open-air theatre is designed in the Roman style and combines classic Roman architectural components. It has a semi-circular form with tiered seating, which improves the acoustics and allows superb views of the stage from all directions. Because of its closeness to the Arabian Sea and the presence of the Hajar Mountains in the background, it is a location that is both picturesque and appealing to both residents and visitors.
Khorfakkan Beach
Nestled between the Arabian Sea and the mountains of the Hajar range lies this beach, which is known for its gorgeous appearance. Al Adwani Tower
Within the city of Khorfakkan, the Al Adwani Tower is a historical monument. The tower was first constructed in 1623 as a lighthouse and was essential in directing ships heading into Magic of Khor Fakkan Port. Sheikh Zayed Bin Hamood Al Adwani Qasimi was the developer and builder of the structure. On the other hand, the tower was demolished in 1985 to make room for urban growth. However, it has since been rebuilt on the same site where it was originally built to maintain its historical relevance.
The Resistance Monument
The Wahat Al Karama (Oasis of Dignity), often referred to as the Resistance Monument, is a memorial and monument dedicated to the conflict. The Emirati warriors who gave their lives while serving their nation inspired the construction of this structure. Symbolizing the solidarity and togetherness between the United Arab Emirates military forces and its people, the monument is characterized by a striking architectural design that is comprised of 31 enormous tablets that are covered in aluminium and stacked one on top of the other. The names of all the warriors acknowledged at the location are etched on the inner panels of the Pavilion of Honor, located at the very centre of Wahat Al Karama.
Al Rabi Tower
In addition to being a well-known tourist destination, it is also popular because it provides visitors with breathtaking views of the surrounding terrain. Because it is perched on top of a hill, the tower offers a vantage point from which one can see the town of KhorFakkan, the shoreline, and the Hajar Mountains nearby. The region is also a well-known destination for those who enjoy hiking and the natural environment.
